Anishinabe Learning, Cultural & Wellness Center

Plans & Development

  • To become a “One Stop Wellness Center” which will include cultural healing, holistic health, fitness and health education in an outdoor classroom setting.
  • To become an information and media center on Agricultural related topics.
  • To utilize the existing Entrepreneurship program to re-establish a once existing Trading Post to include a “Cyber Café” and consignment store.
  • To establish a Greenhouse research/educational center for: Environmental Agriculture, native plant studies, natural resources, horticulture, etc.
  • To create a Multi-purpose Health Facility for community members, youth and health minded people. Center will include a swimming pool, racquetball court, indoor track and playing field, weight room, cardio-room, and indoor tennis court.
  • Leverage funding to erect a Day Care Center for student use - currently $150,000.00 has been raised.
