Donna Thomas, a Turtle Mountain Chippewa, is the Director of the 121 Vocational Rehabilitation Project. She has worked for the Turtle Mountain Community College for 30 years. Donna is a long time Native American disability and human and civil rights advocate. She has a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of North Dakota; a Master’s of Science in Social Work from the University of Minnesota and is a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW). She also has an Advanced Clinical Studies Certificate in working with individuals with Mental Disorders from the University of Minnesota. Ms. Thomas is dedicated to promoting the provision of vocational rehabilitation services to Turtle Mountain Indians with disabilities in order to prepare them for suitable employment.
